JOB VACANCY: HR  Senior Executive

Location: Penang Branch (Supporting 6 branches across 3 major states in Malaysia) 


Job Description: 

As an HR Executive, you will play a critical role in managing the human resources functions of our firm. Your responsibilities will include: 


  • Recruitment and Staffing: Overseeing the recruitment process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding (orientation) of new employees. 

  • Employee Relations: Handling employee grievances, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring employee satisfaction. 

  • Performance Management: Implementing and managing performance appraisal systems, providing feedback, and supporting employee development. 

  • Compliance: Ensuring the firm’s HR policies and procedures comply with legal regulations and best practices. 

  • HR Administration: Maintaining employee records, managing payroll, and handling other HR administrative tasks. 

  • Training and Development: Identifying training needs and coordinating training programs to enhance employee skills and career growth. 

  • HR Software Management (MyWorkspace): Utilizing HR software to streamline HR processes, maintain accurate employee data, and generate reports. 

  • Reporting: Regularly reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) on HR metrics, issues, and updates. 




  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of HR experience in the legal industry or a similar professional services environment. 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Malaysian labor laws and HR best practices. 

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. 

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
