Zemilah binti Mohd Noor graduated with an LLB (Hons.) degree from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and was called to the Bar in 1995. In her 28 years of practice, she has been involved in advising and executing tasks in the areas of conveyancing, specifically Project & Real Estate, Islamic Finance & Banking, Commercial, Start-ups, and Advisory. As a senior partner, giving the best service to the client is her top priority.

She currently serves the Bar Council Malaysia as:

  • Co-Chairperson of the Conveyancing Practice Committee (CPC)

  • Disciplinary Committee Member of the Advocates & Solicitors Disciplinary Board (ASDB)

  • Coordinator for MyMudah unit

At Penang Bar Committee, she still contributes as :

  • Member of Conveyancing Practice Sub-committee

  • Member of Islamic Finance Sub-committee

Puan Zemilah is involved in a broad spectrum of conveyancing practices; recently, she was appointed as one of the working committees responsible for the Housing Development (Control & Licensing) Act 1966 amendment. She is a member of the Solicitors’ Cost Committee (Set up under section 113 of the Legal Profession Act 1976), Chaired by the Chief Judge of Malaya. One of _her most outstanding achievements is advising, drafting, and seeing __through the disbursement of financing of Ringgit Malaysia 89 million.

Puan Zemilah is involved in a broad spectrum of conveyancing practices; recently, she was appointed as one of the working committees responsible for the Housing Development (Control & Licensing) Act 1966 amendment. She periodically engages with the Penang Lands and Mines Office, Penang Inland Revenue Department, and other state agencies to resolve ever-evolving conveyancing issues. Making her a known and respected figure in the government and state agencies.

To earnestly contribute to the conveyancing industry, she regularly attends _and speaks for various seminars throughout Malaysia as a panellist to enlighten her audience on conveyancing subject matters. Some of the topics that she has spoken about are:
