Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 (Act 342) is a law and legislation that covers the prevention and control of vector-borne diseases . Vector-borne diseases are human illnesses caused by parasites, viruses and bacteria that are transmitted by vectors. Vectors are living organisms that can transmit infectious pathogens between humans or from animals to humans such as mosquitoes, ticks, and fleas .

Social media has raised various legal issues concerning individuals. Actions such as sharing, liking, retweeting and commenting may be taken as a republication of defamatory content and may contribute to an invasion of privacy or offence under Penal Code. Briefly, such constrain-free media system does not exist in this world.
