EzriLaw Bangsar Expands Its Partnership with Syed Nur Aiman Syed Abdul Hamid

EzriLaw Firm is pleased to welcome Syed Nur Aiman bin Syed Abdul Hamid as a Partner of the firm, based at our Bangsar branch. His admission as Partner marks a strategic addition to the firm’s growing litigation and sports law practice.

Syed Nur Aiman holds a Diploma in Shariah Legal Practice and an LL.B. (Hons.) from the International Islamic University Malaysia. He brings with him a diverse legal background, having practised across criminal, civil, and corporate matters. Prior to joining EzriLaw Firm, he was a Partner at Farhan Maaruf & Co, where he handled criminal litigation and corporate work, and previously served as a Legal Associate at Akmal Shamsul Kahar & Co, focusing on contract, defamation, and criminal matters. His early training during pupillage at Kamal Hisham & Associate further grounded him in administrative, contract, and company law.

Syed Nur Aiman is particularly recognised for his work in sports law, where he has represented clients before the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) in matters involving player transfers, contractual disputes, and disciplinary proceedings. Locally, he has advised and represented athletes, clubs, and stakeholders in proceedings before the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), ensuring compliance with both domestic regulations and international football governance standards. He also regularly drafts and advises on employment and sponsorship agreements tailored to the needs of athletes and sports organisations.

In addition to his sports law practice, Syed Nur Aiman continues to handle civil litigation and criminal matters, and currently serves as Legal Adviser to the Pahang Pickleball Association. EzriLaw Firm looks forward to the depth of experience and perspective he brings to the firm, particularly in strengthening its sports law and dispute resolution capabilities.
